Can SA be built with hostname that resolves to SRV query

I was wondering if a Session agent can be built with a hostname that resolves to DNS SRV query. I am aware that hostname resolution for SA involves a A record query. Can we prompt the SBC to initiate a SRV query for a fqdn?
