What if we don't follow the Virtual MAC Address Assignments for HA config in SD 4250?

Hi guys,

 

Is there any real impact to traffic crossing the SD 4250 or appliance functionality if we do not follow the recommended Virtual MAC Address Assignments from the BCP for HA configuratión?

 

More specificly; if we use BASE B where the BCP sais we should use BASE A and the other way around?

 

What if in addition, we do not follow the way the last numbers must be set as recommended (+8 +9 +e +f)?

 

Please let me know.
