Booting 4250 with a single interface card installed
One of my network interface cards has damage where the SFP connects to the board and is therefore unusable. The card is still recognized by the system...but I can't use it.
If I remove this card...my system won't finish booting.
The system seems to remember what cards it had before and expects them. If I strip out references to that card....will I still boot? Or do I need both slots filled?
This is the output I get
Channel mode configuration mismatch on port 0: hardware=0x00 software=0x01
+ Channel mode configuration mismatch: hardware=0x00 software=0x01
