Workflow notification text different to email notification mailer sends out

I have a situation where the notification seen in a users worklist is slightly different to the email that is sent to the user by the notification mailer.

A change was applied to the notification to add an additional column successfully but this change does not seem to have been applied to the email which is sent. Any idea as to what I need to do to get the  notification to be the same as the email?
