Error: Could not connect to SMTP host: localhost, port: 0

Hello.

We are intermittently getting failed email deliveries and the log is showing this error message - Error: Could not connect to SMTP host: localhost, port: 0 - which is not our SMTP host or port.

We cannot figure out why some emails are working and some are not.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
