Change Assistant is the primary tool for applying maintenance to your environment. The PeopleSoft Update Manager PIA Application interrogates the Change Assistant maintenance history of your target environment to provide you with information about which updates were already applied to your environment. A valid Change Assistant maintenance history of your environment is key to the ease and success of the PUM maintenance process.
