EUS OVD w/OpenLDAP Possible?

Can you provide guidance as to how I can setup Enterprise User Security with OVD and OpenLDAP? Is this configuration even supported as I see plenty of instructions for everything but OpenLDAP. If not, what do I need to deploy to authenticate a database user against OpenLDAP?
