What can be done if RG Consolidation is not done before new year Tax calendar is opened. For example

What can be done if RG Consolidation is not done before new year Tax calendar is opened. For example RG Consolidation for the month March-15 is not done but next Financial Year Tax Calendar starting from April-15 period is now already opened. And hence getting an error  RG consolidation can be done only for current financial year. Experts please advise.
