strange ping/scp issue to virtual server

We have 2 solaris 11 Sparc T5's, which manage some solaris 10 branded zones.

There is a strange problem with one of the branded zones, all other zones from the global zone seem to be OK.

I can ping it from the Sparc T5 server which is not managing it.

However, I cannot ping it on the server which is actually running it.

If I run traceroute on the global zone managing it , the traceroute doesn't find it, traceroute on the other global zone goes to it straight away.

nslookup finds an entry for the zone.

The branded zone used to be on one global zone and we moved it from one global zone to the other.
