Has anyone customized the Message field on the Voucher Page, Payments tab?
A customer has asked for a customization to the Voucher page, Payments tab, Payment Options section, Message field. The field size is 70 characters and the customer would like to increase the field size to 254 characters so they can fit more details on the remittance advice.
On the surface this request seems simple enough, but my concern around unintended consequences.
Has anyone else customized this field? Does anyone have an opinion about the ramifications of doing this?
