PPM PMU 404 error

I am using PPM to monitor some component traces and for some I keep getting a error on PMU 404. Is this telling me there is a peoplecode issue or is it more telling me the PMU is failing and the source system is fine.

I keep getting the error on specific task, direct deposit Peoplecode under a command button. I checked the peoplecode referenced in the PMU error and it compiles correctly and I don't see anything in the app server logs on the source system.
