IRS 1099-MISC form requirement is that recipient's identification number must be entered using hyphens. SSNs, ITINs, and ATINs
should be in the XXX-XX-XXXX format. EINs should be in the XX-XXXXXXX format.
In order to print the recipient's identification number on the 1099-MISC form in the correct format, the SSN and EIN have to be entered with
dashes in PeopleSoft.
However, this is creating an issue when we run the TIN Matching Extract process (Supplier > Supplier Information > Maintain > Extract TIN Matching File).
EIN and SSN with dashes are giving a Format Error and do not get included in the extract file to be sent to IRS.
