HRMS 9.1 bundle 17 Create Views Fails in Change Assistant

Hi,

Friday afternoon and hoping (perhaps unrealistically) for some insight here. Using Change Assistant 8.54.10 (just applied the .10 update to peopletools prior to doing these patches). 

The create views step in change assistant ends in error with the below error text.  I am inclined to blame the "Set Define Off" that is at the top of the create views script.  And am a little inclined to consider just removing it/commenting it out.  But would rather hope that I can find out more before I do that. 

Any thoughts/suggestions???
