Order Type option in RMS

Hello All,

I would like to understand the significance of SYSTEM_OPTIONS.DEFAULT_ORDER_TYPE option in RMS, what is the impact of this in RWMS when set to Automatic or Manual Or Wave. I have a environment where this is set to Automatic, even though when any store orders come to WMS user has to manually run the wave in WMS to pick the orders in pick directive.

Appreciate your feedback on this.
