SAIP Bulk Data File Transfer using HTTPS and load balancer configuration for Production Environment

Hi,

We are designing the production architecture for a Campus/HRMS implementation,  The initial design is composed of a Hardware Load Balancer and two web servers for each application.  For security reasons the client want to add SSL to the connection,  In the implementation its also required to have SAIP enabled (Student Administration Integration Pack), and the implementation guide states that:

"The IMS Learning Information Services 2.0 standard dictates that bulk data files should be "transferred using HTTPS".

Then, We have to create the HTTPS Repository and add the certificate to the PeopleSoft Database but we are unsure of some technical details about the certificate and we need some advice for this.
