Pack Items Created In RMS Are Reflecting As Regular Items In ORPOS But Not As KIT Items version 14.0

Pack Items created in Retail Merchandising System (RMS) are reflecting as regular items in Oracle Retail Point-Of-Sale (ORPOS) application and not as Kit items.

While doing a transaction in ORPOS, pack item is sold as a regular one. This is because the KitSetCode information is not being sent from RMS as part of ItemExport file.

Why the KitSetCode is not present in ItemExport XML file (batch orpos extract JAR file) ?

Scenario:

  Create a simple/complex pack in RMS.

    Run batch: BATCH_ORPOS_EXTRACT.KSH

    Notice that KitSetCode is not present in the ItemExport file.

    Try to sell the pack in ORPOS.
