change impact analyzer tool

Hi All,

Recently i cam to know about "change impact analyzer tool" and want to know more about it on pros and cons.

I have gone thru peoplebooks and demo video to  have better understanding and still havin questions on it.

Pros?

Cons?

Diff. b/w using compare reports vs using change impact analyser tool

Diff. b/w "Basic Impact Analysis" and "Impact Analysis" options..i ran with both options and both produced same results.

Even if we found impacted object,We have to compare manually to identify the exact custimizations using Application designer...?

CIA tool runs on Windows machine, so this tool is not useful to find file references if using linux machine...
