RMS batch compilation doubt

Hi Experts,

  While compilation of Pro*c batch, we use

make -f rms.mk name

make -f resa.mk name

make -f mts.mk name

make -f retek.mk name

what is the main difference between all and how to decide which one we should use while compiling. As I know, if you are going to compile the RMS batch, then use rms.mk

Could anyone make me clear about this ?
