PeopleSoft 9.1 SSO using kerberos/Across domains/PT 8.52

We have PeopleSoft as a managed service , hosted with the outsourced vendor. So, its at a different domain than our Active Directory. As per Active directory team,, SAML supports authentication across domains, but SAML isn't supported by PeopleSoft.

Can kerberos be used for authentication across domains? Any documentation (outside of Peoplebooks) will be really helpful.
