Oracle / Psft support receives many inquiries regarding our support for Office (Word, Excel) and various PeopleTools releases.  Here's a few useful documents on this topic:

Is Office 2013 supported with PT 8.53?

Is Office 2013 supported with PT 8.54?

Is Office 365 supported with PT 8.54?

Is Office <any release> 32-bit supported

         When using PeopleTools 8.53 with Office 2013 components, the 32-bit version of Office is required.  The minimum PeopleTools patch level to be used is PT 8.53.14.
