Problem with clobs when using Integration Integrity Utility

I've setup the Integration Integrity Utility in Peoplesoft CS and am running into problems when I have a record to compare that has a field type of clob.  We're using the DBlink method.  Is there a way around the problem where I can't have a clob in the where clause, or do I have to create views for these tables and not keep the comments in sync?
