Search Page delay problem with IE 10

We are experiencing a search page delay problem under IE 10. We are on HR 9.1/PT 8.53. If I use Firefox 31.6 or IE 11, I do NOT get the delay.

This delay occurs on any search page, when search results are displayed.

The delay is longer if the number of rows returned is larger, but it does occur, even when the number of rows returned is less than 300 (max rows returned).

In this example, I will use JOB_DATA:

When the Job Data search page comes up, I enter "JOHNSON",
the spinner spins for a few seconds as the query is being run and then it will freeze for up to 20 seconds before displaying the search results in the search results grid.
