Has anyone had problems with 8.54 on Windows 2008 or 2012?

We're upgrading to 8.54.  Our existing machines are on Win 2008.  We've installed Tools and Tuxedo, and built a Process Scheduler. Everything appears to be okay but the Scheduler won't boot.  We have also tried this on a Win 2012 machine (both virtual).  If anyone has run into this (or a similar) problem, any help would be appreciated.
