How to view Data Mover .dat contents

Is there a way now to easily view the contents of a Data Mover .dat Import file?   Used to be something out there called '.Dat Inspector' but it seems to be no longer around.

Does anybody have any suggestions for looking into a .dat file to see its contents - before importing?
