Removing all traces of old PeopleTools installation
We upgraded to PT 8.54.05 from 8.52.12. The upgrade involved new servers, and updates to the client workstations for nVision.
Everything seemed to work fine. However then we shutdown the old, unused server, and suddenly clients are having issues opening nVision in 3-tier. When they try to open nvision they get "Designer failed to connect to PS/nVision"
We turned the old (PT8.52) server back on, and nVision works again. When we trace client connections we see traffic to the old server, like this:
