Affiliate field - no effective date validation in journal line page? JOURNAL_ENTRY2_IE

We converted an invalid Affiliate value directly in to ps_ledger.

My Goal = create the Affiliate value to allow reclass journal.  THEN, set the AS_OF_DATE = Dec 31 2099.

After setting AS_OF_DATE = Dec 31 2099, I realize that there is no effective date validation when using the Affiliate value.  It allows me to use an Affiliate that has an as of date of December 31 2099.

Any help/thoughts would be greatly appreciated!!

App Release = 9.10

Tools Release = 8.53.13
