pscbo stats error message regarding EXEC DBMS_AUTO_TASK_ADMIN.DISABLE

When we run pscbo stats against our HR Peoplesoft database, it throws errors in the pscbo_log table: EXEC
DBMS_AUTO_TASK_ADMIN.DISABLE('auto optimizer stats collection', NULL, NULL);

I spoke with our DBA, and he stated that: He configured the auto stats job to only gather stats on the Oracle internal schemas – SYS,
SYSTEM, etc. It ignores all other schemas (i.e. SYSADM).

Is there a recommendation regarding this setting?
