need to update sha1 to sha256 in wellogic 10.3.6

We are planning to upgrade SHA1 to SHA256 in weblogic server , which is in 10.3.6 version with tools version 8.51 and application 9.1 , any latest pathces needs to be applied to weblogic in this process. or when upgrading to SHA256 , any impact to application , please share your ideas and views on this.
