Upgrade strategy for HCM9.0 to HCM9.2 on MSSQL Server 2008

We're planning to upgrade our PeopleSoft HCM to the latest version HCM 9.2 & PT8.54, below is our current set up

PeopleSoft HCM 9.0

PeopleTools 8.49

Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2

Understand that PUM is delivered with Oracle DB only, so how should we migrate the projects from Oracle DB to MSSQL?

Steps on the upgrade,

Due to the difference in Tools version and its supported DB, we will need to upgrade the DB too, may I know if we use the standard delivered SQL Server upgrade method, will this cause any issue with PeopleSoft?

Below is the steps which based on my understanding please advice if I got it wrongly as this is my first time doing upgrade on MSSQL Server on HCM9.2
