FCM [11.1.2.4] Unable to select "Team" as an assignee

We are able to create teams and assign users to team in FCM. But somehow these teams are not visible in the user selection dialog while we select an asignee for a basic task. 

Is this a known issue on this version (11.1.2.4.x) and can be fixed with a patch? OR any additional configuration steps are required to have them available for selection?
