PeopleSoft 9.1 IBAN bank account number length warning

PeopleSoft 9.1: I was setting up IBAN for a country who's bank account number has a length of 20.  I received a warning stating the Bank account number length is limited to 17.  This is true in PeopleSoft 9.0, but in 9.1 it's length is 35.  Is there a functional/business reason why this warning is still occurring?
