SPARC T5-2 with SunNetwork QDR InfiniBand and ZS3-2 Storage

edited Jul 7, 2015 9:15AM in Oracle Solaris Networking (MOSC) Question

Hi,

I have an environment consisting of SPARC T5-2 servers - 4 in number, ZS3-2 Storage - 2 in number, Sun Network QDR InfiniBand Gateway switches - 2 in number.

There are 4 different networks:

Management network: This required network connects to the existing management network, and is used for administrative work for all components of Oracle rack. It connects ILOM, compute nodes, server heads in the storage appliance, switches connected to the Ethernet switch in the machine rack. This management network is in a single subnet.

InfiniBand private network: This required network connects the compute nodes and the storage appliance through the BOND0 interface to the InfiniBand switches/gateways on the machine rack. It is the default IP over InfiniBand (IPoIB) subnet created automatically during the initial configuration of the machine.

Howdy, Stranger!
