Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Force Password Change at first Log On not working: OAM-OIM-OAAM Integrated Environment 11gr2ps2

Hi,

We are having a issue where the “Force password change at first log on” is not triggering. Ours is OAM-OIM-OAAM 11gr2 PS2 Environment.

As part of trouble shooting we were able to narrow it down to the observation that :

When the user is getting created in OIM, we observed that the user is getting created in OID with the default object classes (InetORgPerson…)
The user is not assigned the OblixPwdPolicy and other Oblix***, OIMPwd** classes whose attribute values help to trigger this force password change conditions.
No specific error logs too.

Some Configuration settings:

In oam-config.xml “Identity Service Enabled” is set as true.
