How is container weight calculated in wms

For an order (wms to store) once it is distributed and labels printed and then picked and Drop off to the shipping area .

How is container weight calculated .???

Suppose There are 10 different item with different qty .

when I manually calculated the weight : item_qty * item_weight

But I can see different container_weight in container table..

There is 20% variance

As these all item are non- catch weight item so uom_conv_factor is not considered for the weight calculation?
