IIS 8.5 on Windows 2012 R2 with 11g OAM webgate returning HTTP 404

Hello everyone:

I wonder if anyone has the OAM 11g webgate configured with IIS8.5 / Windows Server 2012 R2.  Mine protects the content but keeps returning HTTP 404 for any request (even if the content exists - is served OK when the webgate is removed).

The challenges I had during the webgate install included:


1) IIS prerequisites


I do not see any specific IIS prerequisites listed anymore in the 11g install at http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E37115_01/install.1112/e38922/webgate_iis.htm#WGINS76905
so I am following those I used for our 10g IIS webgates mainly (certainly cannot work without ISAPI...):
adding ISAPI Filters
