Workflow Ideas for PT 8.53/FIN 9.2?
Hello,
We are going to upgrade to 8.53 and 9.2 Fin from 8.50 and 9.1 Fin and make the switch to use AWE.
We currently use Virtual Approver for Requisitions and Voucher workflow. We have roles assigned to each approving user (Level 1, Level 2, etc.) with appropriate route control profiles for the approver's department and subsidiary company. Our process is to almost always route the voucher or requisition by department ID up to the appropriate Level of approval based on dollar value.
It seems like AWE does not really work with Route Controls as delivered. Are there delivered options for implementing a similar solution or would we need custom tables and SQL objects/Application Classes to handle routing? We are trying to make the maintenance of workflow more of a user-driven thing as opposed to a PeopleSoft security change.
