Automate Marking Items for Dispute

Hello,

We have a request from our business users to automate marking items for dispute.  Is there a delivered process that automatically marks items as dispute based on certain criteria?  If there is not a delivered process, has anyone implemented any types of processes for this type of request?  Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
