Getting invalid disc and discount reason required error

Dear Support,

We have created promotions and discount rules in POS, performed some transaction and processed RTLOG and we are facing INVALID_DISC and DISC_REASON_REQUIRED error.

Is it recommended to do promotion and discount rules in POS when RPM is in place.
