How do I interrupt the boot sequence of on a 4250 SBC - its not responding to space bar

in Acme Packet (MOSC) Question

How do I interrupt the boot sequence of on a 42050 SBC - its not responding to space bar.  Am in the console port ... and the memory check is saying ok , but everything else is garbled.
