Does PeopleSoft issue a periodic update for sales tax rate per taxing authority?

We do not utilize Vertex or Taxware. The tax accountant is noticing that the rate used by PeopleSoft to calculate sales tax is not correct. Is it required for a user to manually update the tax rate per tax authority or does PeopleSoft provide an annual update that can be applied?
