ESSO upgrade & IE 10 or 11 questions

Hello,

I hope I'm posting in the right place. I have been on the Oracle and MOSC site all day bouncing around trying to research before posting. But find it hard to understand. I'm a newbie so bare with me. Yes, I've had an account for a while but rarely have the need to come here.

We only use ESSO and are on 11.1.2.1.0. I will number my questions below for ease of a response.  Thanks in advance.

I've come here because we are looking at upgrading to Internet Explorer 10 or 11 and have been testing both with some issues.  I hope this is the solution to them
