Just wanted to know why peoplecode ans SQL actions are not mutual exclusive ?

Hi,

Can anyone please guide me why peoplecode and SQL actions aren't mutual exclusive in AE.

For Example, let's say we are doing an update operation on a specific record under peoplecode section in Step-1 and in same step, under SQL action, we are performing another update operation on the same record which leads to deadlock situations.

Please share your thoughts if anyone is aware of how to handle this situation in AE ?
