Error at the PTIAANALYSIS step of FSCM9.2 Upgrade/PT 8.54

I get the  Error: Unable to execute step.   Application Server has not been defined in environment configuration.   Process Server Name has not been defined in environment configuration for SERVER1.  I re-open the environment and define the app/batch server but still get the same message.  The Test Connection is successful in the app server configuration.  Please advise.
