PeopleTools 8.54 and Excel

We are currently on PeopleTools 8.53.19 and are planning on upgrading to 8.54 next year.  We are using Excel 2007.  Besides the Windows Process Schedulers upgrading to Excel 2013, do all end users who run nvision reports (not developers), drilldowns, and download queries to Excel need to have Excel 2013 or will 2007 work until we get everyone migrated to 2013?
