Peoplesoft FSCM 9.2 Modifying APY2021X1 CHECK1 template

We are in the process of upgrading to FSCM 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.54.  Crystal reports are no longer supported so we are moving to the XML publisher AP check.  I was able to find the report definition and downloaded the template for check1 since that was the delivered check we modified in Crystal Reports.  I am having a heck of a time getting things moved around to where I need to fit on our check stock.  I did some searches for any info or step by step docs out there and found surprising little.  Have any of you found good
