Asynchronous Message Handler: Access denied. Target and source message node passwords do not match

I am getting this error when trying to ping a remote node, it pings fine the other way. Web, app, prcs on the same server, confirmed the passwords match on db. Bounce and cleared cache many times as well, jsl port is correct, made sure the portal page on the node is setup properly as well.

Anyone have any idea?
