How do I troubleshoot a vary slow Logical Standby apply process?

For the past two days our logical standby database has been applying data at a glacial pace.  It started when someone attempted to build a materialized view on the primary that failed.  There are no errors anywhere that I can find, just very, very slow.  I am attaching the output from v$logstdby_process.

Does anyone know how to determine exactly what is applying?  Then the real question ... Is there a way to skip that object?
