Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. Is EAN-8 a valid item type in RMS?

Is EAN-8 a supported item type in RMS, SIM, ORPOS, and RWMS or does the user have to expand it to an EAN 13 by adding zeros?

If so is there any special configuration that has to be done in SIM, ORPOS, and RWMS to handle the EAN8?
