Unable to access peoplesoft application PIA from IP address

Customer having requirement to access peoplesoft application using

1> Hostname

2> IP

3> Alias name

Explanation : PeopleSoft 9.2 is installed in Solaris10 , hostname is YYYY

When we are trying to access application using http://YYYY:8020/PSDEV92/signon.html

we are able to login

However when we are trying to access application using ip

X.X.X.X:8020//PSDEV92/signon.html

We are getting error Your URL must contain domain ".XXX.net"

Click Sign in to PeopleSoft to try again.

Third Network team have made alias of server ,

So http://YYY:8020/PSDEV92/signon.html should also work but we are getting we below error

Your URL must contain domain ".XXXX.net"
