what are the possible character sets for Japanese on the Application server ?

Hello,

We need to configure a Japanese character set on the app server to handle some files.

In this document there is an example to use SJIS instead of Latin1, but there is no other example.

  Character Set=latin1

  Character Set=SJIS

Oracle Support Document 1511465.1 (E-FTP: How to upload attachments with filenames containing non-ascii characters)

We would like to know if we can use a Unicode character set instead of only SJIS ?

  Character Set= UTF-8 ? UTF-16 ? UTF-32 ?
